Grand Finale

As many of you know, I’ve spent the past 3 years in the UK, studying at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. This is my final year here, and that means big final projects. One of these involves my putting a band together and taking part in the 3rd Degree Music Festival (the name rather gives it away that it’s a university showcase, but they pitch it as a festival).

You’ve probably noticed my band page, Millions of Oysters.  If you haven’t…um…then I guess you haven’t.

Our big performance is set for Thursday, 29 April, at 5:30pm….That’s right: 5:30pm.  It’s not exactly an ideal time slot for a concert, but that’s what we’re stuck with.  We’re playing as part of the Nu-Folk night, aka Rusted Bandwagon (or Rusted Bandwagin if you look at the misprinted tickets).  We will be playing a 40 minute set, with a few nifty surprises that will be sure to raise a few smiles (or at least a few eyebrows).

Tickets are £4 and you can order them by just emailing me: angus@angusmckay.net.
Or you can order them here

Hope to see you there.
