Bio
Angus McKay is a composer/songwriter who works in various musical styles and settings. He has composed, recorded and produced the music for a number of short films, some of which have featured at various film festivals around the world, including Sundance, the Comic-Con, and Cinequest, winning top awards at many of them.
He has also written numerous songs in various styles, and composed/arranged music for a range of instrumental settings including solo piano, string quartet, string orchestra, full orchestra and choir, electronic ambiance, and solo guitar.
Angus has also performed in multiple settings: as part of orchestras, choirs, small ensembles, rock bands, an acoustic duet, and as a solo artist.
Angus is presently in his final year of pursuing a degree in music at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
